Bugg Would Love To Play At ML

Notts County fan and rock star Jake Bugg has declared that he would love to play a concert at Meadow Lane.

Jake was recently at the home of The World’s Oldest Football League Club for an interview with Radio One DJ Zane Lowe, which will make up part of an hour-long feature that is set to be broadcasted next month.

 

The singer-songwriter has been a County supporter from a young age and was delighted to be given permission to have a kick-about on the Meadow Lane pitch.

 

In terms of playing a set in front of a packed out crowd, Jake was keen to make it happen.

However, the Clifton-based 18-year-old admitted that he would choose Notts gaining a place in the Championship over winning the accolade, saying: “Notts County promotion, all the way.

 

“A Brit Award’s great and all but I think I’d rather get the promotion.”
