New Cut-Price Tram Deal For Notts Fans

6 August 2013

Notts fans that travel via the city’s tram will be able to pay just £2 return from any stop to Station Street on matchdays this season...

All supporters will have to do is produce a match or season ticket to the conductor on the day of the game, and there is an option of free parking too.

Jamie Swift, NET Marketing Manager explained to the Official Site how the cheaper prices would work for Magpie fans: “We’re really excited about this new partnership. In recent months we’ve struck up similar agreements with several other sports clubs in the city as we recognise the important role they play in both the social and economic life of the city.

“Notts is no different and fans are the lifeblood of the club. We want to make it as easy as possible to get to home matches. By encouraging them to use the tram they can avoid congestion around the ground and avoid the hassle and expense of finding a parking space.

“Event tickets cost just £2 for a return journey from any tram stop to the closest stop to the venue. In this case it’s Station Street, just a few minutes’ walk from the ground. The ticket also includes free parking at any of our park and ride sites.”

A full list of events and attractions covered on Net’s website and from later this year, tickets will also be available to purchase online.

The deal begins for the first competitive fixture at Meadow Lane, as Notts face Fleetwood Town on Wednesday, 7 August. Click here for ticket prices.
