Four Promising Youngsters Agree Terms

First team manager Chris Kiwomya has added four young players to the Notts County ranks on short-term contracts.

Ronan Murray, Jeremy Balmy (pictured), Callum Bennett and Jordan Holt will feature in the development squad this term with the challenge of gaining a place in the first team. 
 
The new arrivals have been on trial at Meadow Lane in recent weeks and have earnt deals following their impressive performances in Steve Hodge’s development squad. 
 
Former Republic of Ireland youth international Murray, who is capped at Under-16s, 18s, 19s and 21s, arrives from Ipswich Town, having departed Portman Road at the end of last season.
 
The 21-year-old forward made a total of 14 appearances for the Tractor Boys but also picked up game time during loan spells with the likes of Torquay United, Swindon Town and Plymouth Argyle. 

Balmy, 19, came through the Academy at French Ligue 2 side Le Havre. 
 
As an up and coming youngster, the wide midfielder has previously been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Valencia. 
 
Right-back Bennett was another highly-rated graduate of the Ipswich youth set-up.
 
Also capable in midfield, the 19-year-old has been linked with a number of Championship moves. 
 
Welsh youth international Holt, 19, joins the club after leaving Scottish Premier League team St Mirren. 
 
The centre-back picked up valuable experience in 2012.13 with East Stirling, where he scored twice in nine appearances.
