The former players' annual golf day takes place on Wednesday 11 September at the same venue as last year - the Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club at Cotgrave.
It will be the 16th such event and all those who've participated in previous years have now been circulated with details but, it is emphasised, the day is open to all former Notts players not only to attend but to bring along a guest player as well.
The cost is £40 per individual or £80 per pair and it's essential that, if you wish to play, you contact Les Bradd (07968115162) not later than Friday 6th September. Among the particulars you will be asked to give is your handicap for both you and your guest.
The Arthur Mann Trophy will be won by the best player on the day and there will also be prizes for the best four-man team, best pair and best guest.
Buggies are available and you should reserve one, if required, at a cost of £15 by calling the Golf Club on 0115 9333344.
The programme for the day is that bacon cobs and coffee will be served at 10 a.m., announcement of teams at 10.30 and first tee time at 11. A meal and presentation of prizes will begin at around 5.30 p.m.
A dress code and etiquette policy is enforced on the course and, for the meal, the club expects players to change from golfing gear into smart casual.
