Get behind our official charity partner's official chart single...

Royal Mail has joined forces with X Factor winner, Joe McElderry, to take on the music charts and raise money for charity, by releasing a single in aid of Prostate Cancer UK, the Official Charity Partner of The Football League.

The Royal Mail Choir and Joe have recorded a stirring new version of the famous hymn Abide with Me. Set to a new arrangement, the song also features a 20-piece string orchestra.

The track is available for download from iTunes and Amazon MP3.

Royal Mail will donate £1 to Prostate Cancer UK for every download.

To celebrate the release Prostate Cancer UK have compiled the top 10 most memorable football songs to hit the charts too, which can be found by clicking here.

Working with Joe McElderry
Joe and the choir recorded the single at the famous Sphere Studios, London, where the likes of Adele and the Script made their albums.

Joe said: "I was delighted to be asked to sing on this record, which will hopefully raise lots of money for Prostate Cancer UK.

"It was great recording the song with the Royal Mail Choir - they're a talented group of people, and together I think we've produced a brilliant and moving track."

Joe continued: "Royal Mail's doing a fantastic thing by supporting Prostate Cancer UK in this way. It's not the sort of thing that you'd expect a big organisation to do. I was very impressed when I heard of their plans."
