Keith Curle believes that there is more to come from Alan Judge, who has picked up where he left off last season.
Judge starred in the weekend’s 3-0 win over Portsmouth at Meadow Lane, scoring a stunning goal and setting up two Yoann Arquin finishes.
The midfielder has two goals to his name this term, in addition to four assists.
“He’s an excellent player and typifies the way that we want to play,” said Curle on Magpie Player.
“He’s energetic and has a willingness to have the ball and receive the ball.
“He knows where he’s going when he gets the ball and knows when to play one and two touch.
“The players are now starting to give him the ball at the right times.
“Sometimes I thought last season he was a little bit naïve where he wanted the ball.
“Now he’s aware of where he is on the pitch and where he wants to go with the ball.
“That’s something that the two Colins (West and Lee), because it doesn’t just happen the way we play.”
