Female Magpies earn a point after goalless draw...
Notts County Ladies picked up their first point of the season at the weekend in a 0-0 draw with Pinxton Ladies.
The Magpies put in a strong display and there would have been no complaints had they come away with a victory.
Ladies boss Andrew Eastwood was full of praise for his team, who bounced back from an opening day defeat.
He told the official site: “We dominated the game with some attractive football but lacked the killer instinct in front of goal.
“Pinxton’s goalkeeper was awarded the player of the match after denying us.
“It was a terrific team performance and we hope to go one better in our next match."
The Ladies are next in action on Sunday, 23 September, when they will take on Ellis Town in the League Cup.

A charity night held by the team raised £420, which will be donated to the Melanoma Charity at Nottingham City Hospital.
The club supported the event by donating match tickets and a signed home jersey.
