Goalkeeper’s performance earns him a spot in Team of the Week…
Bartosz Bialkowski has been named in npower League 1 Team of the Week for his performance against Bury.
Bialkowski looked assured between the sticks and produced a crucial save before the interval to ensure that the Magpies held onto a one goal lead.
It was the Polish stopper’s second clean sheet in four matches and the 2-0 triumph lifted County to third in the table.
“He’s growing in stature game by game and the back four are gaining confidence in him because of familiarity,” first team manager Keith Curle told Magpie Player.
“The more games we play, the better the young man will get.”
