Notts supporter and DJ Jon O’Bir is coming back to his roots in November...

Notts supporter and DJ Jon O’Bir is coming back to his roots in November and would love if it fellow Magpies would come and support him.

The world-renowned trance music DJ will be performing at the event ‘Infinity’ at Spankey van Dykes in the city center on 17 November along with a whole host of international and local DJs.

For more information about the event visit: http://www.skiddle.com/events/11709238/

The Official Site sat down with Jon and asked him about his background and his love for the club.

He said: “I've been a Notts fan since 1991 when I came down to Meadow Lane for my first game against Manchester United, of all teams!

“I took part in the majority of Notts County Football in the Community programs in the summers of the 90's with Graham Moran and crew and I can vaguely remember being a ball boy for two seasons 97-99 based at the Family Stand end. They are all great memories!

“I've been a profession musician since 2002, releasing 2 artists albums, numerous singles, remixes and compilations during that time as well as DJ'ing all corners of the globe and often listening to Notts games on Magpie Player in all sorts of time zones.

“I also presented a show on BBC Radio 1 for a year called the Residency. Hopefully fans will come down later this year and support me and listen to some new and exciting artists from this great city too.”

The Media Team have also managed to get their hands on three CDs to give away.

All you have to do to win Jon O’Bir’s latest album is answer this question…
