Two of our loan players on target over the weekend…
Both Krystian Pearce and Tyrell Waite found the net for their loan clubs over the weekend.
Pearce netted Barnet’s first in a 4-0 win over Northampton Town, a header from a corner.
The goal helped to inspire the Bees’ first win of the campaign and to top it off the defender kept a clean sheet.
Barnet remain bottom of npower League 2 but can close the gap on the teams above them further with another positive result on Tuesday night against Wycombe Wanderers.
Waite took only 90 seconds to open his Nuneaton Town account, having joined the Conference outfit ahead of their FA Cup Fourth Round Qualifier with AFC Telford United.
The striker made an impressive debut and will be in action again on Tuesday night in the replay.
