Launch Date Set For Mobile Site

3 October 2012

Information about the launch of new mobile site...

FL Interactive, the digital arm of The Football League is to launch a new mobile website for each of its member clubs during October, including Notts County Football Club.

The new enhanced design will be easier than ever to use and will keep Magpies fans updated on all the latest news from their club as well as fixtures, results, tables and, for the first time, live scores through a brand new match centre.

We will launch our new mobile website on Wednesday 10 October and the club would like to apologise regarding the lack of access via mobile devices since the launch of the new website in the summer.

The launch of the mobile websites concludes the roll-out of the new generation of Official Club websites by Football League interactive (FLi), the digital arm of The Football League and its new technical partner SapientNitro.

More than 80 clubs have received new web and mobile sites in the biggest technical project ever conducted by FLi, the world’s largest network of official club websites.

The Football League’s chief commercial officer, Richard Heaselgrave said: “This is a new era for FLi, our clubs and their supporters.

"It has been a huge project, both in scale and in complexity, and I’d like to thank the seven million supporters that use these sites on a regular basis for their patience during the launch phase.

“Like any other major technical project, there have been some teething problems along the way, but week-by-week we’ve been able to deliver an improved service to supporters and I expect fans will see that continue.

“I’m also grateful to club media teams for all their dedicated hard work during the last few months.

"We are now at the stage where the new websites are moving off the launch pad and I very much look forward to seeing clubs making the most of the new opportunities provided by the more advanced SapientNitro platform.”

Keep checking back to the official site for the latest updates regarding the project.
