Two lucky Notts fans will get the chance to take to the pitch on Legends Day this Sunday...
Notts County are delighted to announce that two lucky winners have been drawn to take to the pitch for the match between two teams of former players that will form part of Legends Day here at Meadow Lane on Sunday.
The two lucky winners, who were drawn from a list of every adult who had pre-purchased their tickets for the day by 12pm on Wednesday 14 November, were Mr Andrew Blatherwick and Mr Paul Gibbs.
Both supporters, who have been sent emails by the club, will be invited to join one of the two teams of former players for what promises to be an entertaining fixture, with some popular names returning to Meadow Lane this weekend.
Several younger supporters have also been contacted, having been drawn out to form a guard of honour as the players come out on to the pitch ahead of the game.
Tommy Johnson, Dave Regis, Phil Turner, Darren Ward, Michael Johnson and Dave McVay are amongst the names to have confirmed that they will be playing in the game, which kicks off at 2pm.
All former players and the current first team squad will be holding signing sessions before the game, from 12pm in the 1862 Suite, whilst there will also be a draw for all those in attendance to win a signed, matchworn Alan Judge shirt from this season, with tickets costing just £1.
Tickets are still available for the day, priced at just £5 and include the screening of “Notts County: The Movie”, an extended version of the video feature on the club’s 150th history that was first shown at the Gala Banquet back in June.
A special 12m wide inflatable screen will be erected on the pitch at Meadow Lane after the legends game, making this a truly unique event that has been priced to make it as accessible as possible for all Notts County supporters.
