Loan Watch: Waite On Target

5 November 2012

Only one of our loan players in action over the weekend...

Tyrell Waite was on target again for Nuneaton Town, as they claimed a 1-1 draw with Luton Town in the first round of the FA Cup with Budweiser.

The striker's 19th minute finish was his second for the Boro since joining them on loan last month.

First team manager Keith Curle has been pleased with the 18-year-old and is looking to get more of his younger squad members out on loan in the near future.

"He's done very well, it's part of his progression going there and getting game time," he said.

"Some of the other younger lads, we're looking to get them out on loan over the Christmas period.

"They can play some games and then come back in after that period and stake their claim."

Elsewhere, goalkeeper Liam Mitchell has not been given permission to appear in the FA Cup for Mansfield meaning he did not feature over the weekend.

Although available for selection, Krystian Pearce was not in the squad for Barnet's loss to Oxford United.
