Judge: We Need To Keep Run Going

6 November 2012

Forward believes County's away form is crucial at the minute...

The Magpies cannot be complacent on the road because of the impressive, 16-game unbeaten run, says Alan Judge.

Notts put in another convincing away display on Saturday in the 2-0 win over Portsmouth.

On Tuesday night, Keith Curle’s side face another long away trip to Colchester United, who are looking to recover from an FA Cup with Budweiser defeat to non-league Chelmsford.

“They’re playing at home and their fans will want them to react, and we’ve got to be wary of that,” Judge told Magpie Player.

“For one thing, the coaching staff and the manager won’t let us get complacent.

“We can’t expect to roll out a performance, we’ve got to earn it, and hopefully we’ll do that.”

He added: “The minute you think that you’re automatically going to win games, that’s when you get a kick up the backside.

“You can take things for granted but we can’t let that happen, if you want to go up you need to be winning your away games as well as your home games.

“We aren’t doing the best at home at the minute so we need to make sure we keep our away form going as long as we can.”
