28 November 2012

The club celebrated 150 years with a special birthday bash...

The board, players, staff and supporters all came together on Wednesday evening in the 1862 Suite as the club celebrated 150 years in existence.

The night also saw the first inductee of the Notts County Hall of Fame, with legendary Manager Jimmy Sirrel being named after three hugely successful spells at Meadow Lane.

Record top goalscorer Les Bradd told his memories of the great man, whilst daughter Audrey was presented with a special certificate to commemorate the event.

Manager Keith Curle and Chief Executive Jim Rodwell answered fans questions via the club's social networking sites, guests enjoyed delicious birthday cupcakes, were entertained by singer Drew Dennis and played party games as the club reached the incredible milestone.

The club would again like to thank everyone around the world for the hundreds of messages of good will throughout the day.

Thanks to Andy Stokes for the photographs.
