Curle: Let's Enjoy It

9 November 2012

Magpies looking to take away form into Saturday's home tie...

Keith Curle wants his players to enjoy performing at Meadow Lane and not worry about making mistakes.

Notts are looking to claim their first win on home turf since the 3-0 thumping of Portsmouth in September.

With back-to-back away victories behind them, County will take on Crawley Town with the hope of ending that run.

Curle has every faith that his team will take the positives from the last two games into the Meaadow Lane clash.

“We’re not changing too much, because, like I’ve said right from the beginning, our planning and preparation is right,” he explained.

“Players will make mistakes and sometimes players will make decisions which are the wrong decisions, but we accept that, I accept that.

“We encourage players to go out without the fear factor that they’re going to make mistakes.

“We’re going to go out, we’re going to play and we’re going to win our home matches.”

He added: “The ideal scenario is that we don’t get beaten in any single home game or any single away game between now and the end of the season – and win every single game.

“That’s what we aim to do and that’s what we’re striving to do, and will it happen? We don’t know.

“I know that we will win football matches at Meadow Lane, because we’re a good team.”
