Notts Secure Labadie Signing

9 July 2012

Joss Labadie has become the latest new player to sign for Notts County this summer...

Keith Curle has continued his summer rebuilding at Meadow Lane by making former Tranmere Rovers midfielder Joss Labadie the latest addition to his Notts County squad ahead of the 2012.13 campaign.

Labadie, who moved to Tranmere in 2010 after a successful loan spell, has signed a one-year deal at Notts, with the option of an extra year, after passing his medical at Meadow Lane on Monday.

The 21-year-old told Magpie Player that he was looking forward to staking a claim for a place in Curle’s starting XI next season, saying: “I’m really happy now that I’ve been able to sign and can crack on.

“I was offered several other deals, some in England, some in Scotland, but once this opportunity arose, I wanted to get this started and sign here.“

Magpie Player subscribers will be able to see the first interview with Joss Labadie on Monday and the first official news of any further signings will be confirmed here on the club’s Official Website.
