Alan Sheehan and Joss Labadie took time out to visit a young Notts County fan at the Queen’s Medical Centre on Thursday afternoon.
Just a couple of weeks after the whole squad visited the QMC to deliver selection boxes to children, Sheehan and Labadie returned to the hospital on Wednesday to visit 13-year-old Liam Rixson.
Liam, a big Notts fan, is suffering from Cystic Fibrosis and is facing the next fortnight in hospital, although he is hoping to be allowed home for Christmas.
The youngster was delighted to see the two Notts players and we hope that the visit helped bring a bit of festive cheer to a very brave young supporter.
Everyone at Notts County would like to wish Liam well and look forward to seeing him back at Meadow Lane in the New Year.
