Magpies Hit 20-Match Landmark

3 December 2012

Notts County are now 20 matches without defeat on the road, following the 1-1 draw with Rotherham United.

The run started out in February – a 1-0 win over Rochdale - and Keith Curle remains unbeaten as Notts boss away from Meadow Lane.

Curle was delighted with the achievement and praised everyone involved in establishing the run.

“It’s a fantastic achievement for everyone connected with the club,” he told Magpie Player, following the weekend’s FA Cup with Budweiser clash at the New York Stadium.

“Not only on the travelling support but the home support as well, it’s something that we’re very, very proud of.

“The level of commitment, application, desire and professionalism, but probably most of all the ability that we’re showing away from home.

“It’s excellent and we will bring that to our home games.”
