Want to find out more?
This is an exciting opportunity for 16 to 18-year-olds to undertake an innovative two-year course that could lead to a career in the sports and futsal industry.

The course will be very challenging mentally and physically, carving out each student’s new skills, knowledge and individual coaching style.

You will be taking part in the FA’s Futsal Mini League competing against eight professional teams fortnightly in Birmingham.

The League currently hosts 56 teams throughout the country.

Meadow Lane hosts the fully equipped classroom that will provide the Virtual Learning Platform element to the course, meaning all course work and assessments will be done online, providing learners with the ability to do extra work from home in order to get themselves ahead of the game.

Who will be leading the course?
Education Manager - Martin Carruthers
Education Officer – Dan Leivers

Entry requirements
Four GCSEs A* to C including Maths or English.

Alternatively students who wish to study this course will require a merit grade or higher in the BTEC level 2 first diploma in sport.

It is an advantage but not essential to have studied and gained a C grade or above in GCSE Physical Education.

For more information about Futsal or any of our other Education Programmes please contact Martin Carruthers, our Education Manager, on 0115 955 7215 or email info@nottscountyfitc.org.uk for an application form.
