Notts County are delighted to have entered into a new partnership with Orchid IT to provide support for the IT infrastructure here at Meadow Lane.
With so much of the club’s administrative and matchday operation relying more and more on the IT infrastructure, Notts turned to Orchid in a bid to provide an affordable but reliable support contract.
Now a few weeks into the new partnership, the club have been delighted with the service that we have received from Orchid, who also provide support for Nottingham Forest and Fraser Brown, who sponsored the front of the Notts home shirts for the 2011.12 season.
“Whilst we had someone who provided IT support, mainly remotely, in the past, who did a fantastic job over the past couple of years, it became increasingly apparent that we needed a dedicated support contract,” explained Notts County’s Head of Media, Jamie Dixon.
“We were aware of Orchid because of their work with other sporting organisations in the local area and we asked them to come in and do an audit of our current infrastructure and provide us with recommendations on how best to move forwards.
“Everything went very smoothly from there and we have entered into what we believe will be a mutually beneficial agreement, with Orchid also supporting the club commercially, so we are delighted to have got everything agreed so swiftly,” added Dixon.
“In the short time that we have worked with them Orchid have shown fantastic support and have already implemented upgrades to improve the IT infrastructure here at Meadow Lane.”
