Magpies’ defender makes presentation to retiring County fan...

Haydn Hollis recently paid tribute to a retiring teacher with the presentation of his away jersey from last season.

Tim Baker, a big Notts County supporter, ended his stay at Keyworth Primary School after 38 years of teaching.

Tim is also responsible for getting the learning establishment involved with the club through the ‘A Game of Two Halves’ scheme.

“It was a real honour to have representatives of Notts County at my retirement,” he told the Official Site.

“I have been privileged to be associated with the club on numerous occasions over the last 30 years.

“In the early 1990s I was a youth scout when Neil Warnock and Russell Slade were managers and worked closely with the School of Excellence, managing the under 12s side.

“As a teacher I have always been well supported by the club and look forward to reciprocating in my retirement.”
