We failed to hit our usual high standards on a frustrating afternoon, with Tyrone Barnett heading the hosts in front in the first half and Andrew Boyce doubling the lead with a scrappy effort after the break.

Plenty of half chances passed us by but we failed to create any real clear-cut opportunities, while Eastleigh's Ben House was thwarted by the returning Sam Slocombe on a number of occasions.
