A strong performance was rewarded with only a draw at second-placed Boreham Wood.

Following a disappointing display at Eastleigh days earlier, we responded with an excellent first-half showing which saw Ruben Rodrigues score a lovely header courtesy of Cal Roberts' whipped free-kick.

We continued to look the better side after the break but were left frustrated on 64 minutes when the ball ran kindly for Tyrone Marsh to finish beyond Sam Slocombe.

The game evened out somewhat after the equaliser with both sides sensing an opportunity to claim a big three points in the context of the promotion race.

But, despite creating some good openings, we failed to carve out any clear-cut chances to regain our lead and in the end had to settle for a point.
