Against all the odds, we made it four consecutive wins as Michael Doyle led us to an incredible victory from between the sticks.
The skipper took the gloves from Sam Slocombe after our number-one was red-carded for a lunge on an opponent in his area.
It looked like we were in for a long evening when Paul McCallum stepped up to take the subsequent spot kick in a bid to restore parity after Kyle Wootton had given us an early lead.
But he failed to test Doyle as his penalty hit the post and we went on to score twice more thanks to brilliant efforts from Wootton and the brilliant Ruben Rodrigues.
Matthew Robinson scored a consolation in second-half stoppage time but that was all Dagenham had on a hugely memorable Meadow Lane evening!
More to follow.
