Notts County made it two pre-season wins from two at Basford United this evening.

All three of Notts' goals came before the break, Jon Stead converting a penalty before latching on to a looping ball over the top to finish in composed fashion.

17-year-old Magpies midfielder Dongda He was an impressive performer and scored a deserved goal shortly before the break, worming his way past a defender before producing an excellent finish.

Notts spurned several chances to extend their lead in the second half and Basford bagged a late consolation thanks to full-back Liam Bateman.
