A local group of men aged 50-60 are looking to start weekly walking football sessions & aining to join the Midlands Community League. They will be holding a taster session on 15th February, 1pm-2pm, at the Forest Sports Zone.
There are many benefits to taking part in walking football, including: lower heart rate and blood pressure, better mobility, more muscle and less fat. And it's not just health benefits - walking football also offers social benefits. Participants can meet new people, avoid becoming isolated, and interact with individuals and small groups
