Education and Sports/Functional Skills Tutor (BTEC/NCFE in Sport)

Job Title: Education and Sports/functional Skills Tutor

Responsible to: Education Manager

Salary range: £19,000 - £22,000

At Notts County Football in the Community we want to make a difference in the world of education. We are currently looking for an inspiring Functional Skills Teacher to work on the vast range of Education programmes we offer.

The members of staff you will be working alongside are extremely passionate about what they do and making a difference to the lives of vulnerable young people so you would be expected to share this commitment. We want to make sure that the young people undertaking the qualifications with Notts County FITC are getting the best quality education as possible

Candidates would be subject to an enhanced DBS check and relevant safeguarding training. The rate of pay would be experience, scale or qualification dependent.

Salary range: depending on qualification all rates are per hour

Swim England Level 1 £8.21 / Swim England Level 1 with lifeguard £10.25
Swim England Level 2 £12.50 / Swim England Level 2 lifeguard £15.75

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at The Portland Centre as we are recruiting for Swimming Teachers.

Role purpose: 
• To ensure the safety and enjoyment of everybody participating in swimming lessons. 
• Regularly checking/risk assessing all pool/poolside areas and the efficient organisation of all lessons to the required governing standards. 
• To take responsibility for all aspects of the daily operations of classes, ensuring your classes are varied, organised, safe and fun for all those participating.
