The club was delighted to receive a letter from Nottingham Children's Hospital, thanking the first team squad for their Christmas visit.

The players and coaching staff delivered selection boxes to the children in the wards as part of County fan Rob Bristol's annual collection.

Claire Hardy, Play Specialist on Ward E17 wrote:

I am writing to thank you for taking the time to come and visit Nottingham Children's Hospital on Thursday, 15th December.

What a great afternoon, I know that it can often get a little chaotic but it is so great to see the children and parents' faces when they see local sporting stars taking the time to come and see them.

With all the players and Martin spending time talking to the families, giving out hugs as well as chocolates, and Martin singing to them was quite an emotional and entertaining afternoon for all.

The team will be back again at Easter for the annual Easter visit so look out for the appeal later this year.
