Bio:
Neal joined the club from Barnet on a two-year contract in July 2009 and became an instant success with supporters.
His industrious, tough-tackling performances in the centre of the park throughout 2009/10 helped to establish the County midfield as one of the most dominant in League 2.
After earning a contract extension in 2010, he made the step up to League 1 with ease and put in some sterling showings in the FA Cup against the likes of Manchester City and Sunderland.
In the closing stages of the 2010/11 campaign, he was handed the captain's armband and will once again skipper the team during 2011/12.
His contract was, again, extended by a further year, after the club secured a place in League 1 for another season.
