Bio:
Mike is the club's longest serving player, having arrived in the summer of 2004 on a free transfer.
Since then, he has been a key member of the squad with his consistent, no-nonsense showings at the heart of defence and has picked up the nickname 'Steady Eddy'.
The aerially dominant defender, who has a great spring, has also displayed great character during his time with the club, recovering from two serious injuries.
First he suffered medial ligament damage to his knee in 2004 and then a dislocation of his ankle in 2007, but he has bounced back in style both times.
Another consistent year in the famous black and white stripes during 2009/10 saw presented with a new two-year deal, and he went on to play a key role in keeping Notts in League 1 the following campaign, where he was handed the captain's armband on multiple occasions.
