Rob signed for the club on a free transfer in the summer of 2010 after his contract with Lincoln City expired.
A fans' favourite for his consistent showings between the sticks throughout the duration of his two seasons at Sincil Bank, he was seen as an integral figure in their Football League survival during his final campaign with them.
One of his best performances was witnessed at Meadow Lane and supporters were delighted to hear about the commanding stopper's arrival.
The former England Under-20 international and a Tottenham Hotspur trainee, started his first term with the Magpies between the sticks but injuries prevented him from keeping his place.
