Although their nickname is the Hornets, they are often referred to as the Golden Boys,Yellow Army and the Horns.

Their Chairman is former England chief Graham Taylor and popular singer/songwriter Sir Elton John is an honorary life president.

This will be Watford's fourth campaign in the Championship, subsequent to their relegation from the Premiership in 2007.

Memorable Meeting:
Fans might remember the 2-0 win over Watford in the League Cup back in 2000.

Notts went into the match 3-1 down, having lost in the first leg at Meadow Lane.

Goals from Mark Stallard and Andy Hughes gave Notts the victory on the night but it wasn't enough to progress.

Watford were declared as the aggregate winners, based on away goals.

Played For Both:
Magpies full-back Jon Harley arrived at Meadow Lane from the Hornets in the summer.

The 30-year-old spent two years at Vicarage Road, playing 75 times in the Championship.

Now he dons the black and white stripes of Notts County and hopes to get one over on his former club. (READ HERE)

Also, Dean Yates and Devon White turned out for both the Hornets and Magpies.

One To Watch:
Striker Danny Graham has netted four goals in as many games so far this term, including a brace in Round 1 of the Carling Cup.

A regular marksman, he found the back of the net on 14 occasions last season.

Previously, for Carlisle, he scored 16 times in both 2007/08 and 2008/09.

In The Dugout:
Malky Mackay arrived at Vicarage Road as a player in 2005 under former boss Aidy Boothroyd and went on to play 55 times, becoming a key figure.

He was later handed a role as First Team Coach, following the departure of Dave Hockaday.

The former Scotland international took over on a caretaker basis when Boothroyd left the club in November, 2008, but resumed his coaching role when former Chelsea Reserve Coach Brendan Rodgers was appointed.

However, Rodgers resigned in June, 2009, and Mackay took over permanently, steering Watford to a 16th placed finish in 2009/10.

Form Guide:
Watford have had an unbeaten start to their season, winning two and drawing two.

An opening day 3-2 win over Norwich City was followed by a 3-0 cup win against Aldershot.

More recently, the Hornets have drawn with Coventry (2-2) and Hull (0-0).
