More About… Oldham Athletic:
Founded in 1895, the Latics were originally known as Pine Villa FC.
When their rivals Oldham County folded in 1899, they moved into their stadium, then known as the Oldham Athletic Ground, and adopted the new name.
This later became Boundary Park in 1904, which holds 10,638 at maximum capacity.
The stadium did play host to top-flight football after they gained promotion as champions in 1990/91 - the same year that Notts went up via the Play-Offs.
They remained there until 1993/94 and then suffered another relegation in 1996/97 to the third tier (League 1), where they have remained ever since.
Memorable Meeting:
It might not have been a classic but the most recent meeting between the sides was the last time that the club was in League 1.
This was back in 2003/04 on the final day of the campaign, though Notts were already relegated.
Still, 6,715 turned up at Meadow Lane to witness the fixture that saw Tony Barras grab a late leveller, cancelling out Dean Holden's 61st minute strike.

Played For Both:
Lee Hughes spent two years with Oldham between 2007 and 2009, before joining Notts.
He made 55 appearances for the Latics, scoring 25 times.
Since arriving at Meadow Lane, Hughes has become a fans' favourite thanks to his goals and trademark celebration, 'the Hughesy'.
At present, he has netted 33 times in the black and white stripes.

One To Watch:
Midfielder Dale Stephens might just be the man that Notts will have to keep a close eye on.
Despite only scoring twice last season, he netted a double on the opening day - both in spectacular style.
The 22-year-old is thought to have a keen eye for a pass, as well, so the Magpies' midfield will have to work hard to ensure he doesn't have time to make an impact.
In The Dugout:
In the summer Paul Dickov was appointed as Player-Manager at Boundary Park.
The 37-year-old Scotsman has a wealth of experience, having made over 300 career appearances with the likes of Manchester City, Blackburn, Arsenal and Leicester.
An ability to find the net is something that the 5ft 5ins striker has always possessed and although his main thoughts will be on managing his side, he may decide to throw on the boots at any point.
Form Guide:
A 2-1 win on the opening day away at Tranmere got Oldham off to the best possible start.
The Carling Cup brought disappointment, however, as Championship Scunthorpe United knocked them out in Round 1.
