More About… Plymouth Argyle:
Argyle were founded in 1886 and have played at Home Park since 1893.
Nicknamed 'the Pilgrims', they hold the record for the most third tier (League 1) title wins - four.
They won the league in 2004 to attain a place in the Championship, where they remained until last season.
A 23rd place finish led to their relegation to League 1.
Memorable Meeting:
For those that are old enough, the meeting back in 1990/91 might stand out as the most memorable match between the two sides - for County fans anyway.
Notts came away as 4-0 winners at Meadow Lane, as part of a seven match winning streak that resulted in the team reaching the Play-Offs.

Mark Draper contributed to the scoring but it was Dave Regis that stole the show with a hat-trick.
Since that day, Notts have won once, drawn twice and lost three in clashes with Plymouth.
Played For Both:
Goalkeeper Steve Cherry turned out for both the Magpies and the Pilgrims during a career that spanned 24 years.
It was from Plymouth that Cherry arrived at Meadow Lane after making 73 appearances at Home Park.
Between 1988 and 1995, the stopper became a huge fans favourite with Notts, turning out 266 times.
He later rejoined Argyle in 1996, following a brief spell with Watford, and appeared on a further 16 occasions.

One To Watch:
A great aerial threat, Rory Fallon could be one of the key figures for Plymouth in tonight's meeting.
The striker only netted five times in the Championship last term and suffered a number of frustrating stints on the bench.
However, he has made a name for himself on the international scene with New Zealand, netting the goal that took them to the 2010 World Cup in a 1-0 win over Bahrain.
He then went on to play in each of the three group games in South Africa, which all ended in draws.
In The Dugout:
Peter Reid is a familiar name to County fans, as he donned the black and white stripes in 1993/94
He made five appearances for Notts that season, including the fondly remembered 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest at Meadow Lane.
Since retiring he has bossed some major clubs, such as Manchester City, Sunderland, Leeds United and Coventry.
He arrived at Plymouth in the summer after his contract with the Thailand national team was mutually cancelled.
Form Guide:
The Green Army opened their League 1 campaign with an encouraging 1-0 win over Southampton.
Midfielder Luke Summerfield netted the only goal of the game against one of the league's title favourites to give Peter Reid three points in his first game in charge.
