TEAM NEWS
Notts County: Lee Hughes and Ben Davies were withdrawn through injury at the weekend and both are classed as 50/50 for tonight's match. A number of other players are carrying knocks.
Darlington: Captain Ian Miller requires an operation to solve a hernia injury and will miss out. Defender Paul Arnison (hamstring) is not expected to be fit in time, and midfielder Gareth Waite (knee) and Curtis Main (ankle) remain sidelined.
PRE-MATCH COMMENTS
Steve Cotterill: "We are absolutely focused on playing this game, it's the first time we don't have look over the shoulder at anybody else's results.
"If you look at Saturday's results, all the teams that played on Tuesday lost on Saturday - ourselves Rochdale, Cheltenham and Darlington.
"It was probably one game too much for the other teams as well."
Simon Davey: "From what I have seen so far we are better away from home than at home, and that is not what I want.
"I feel for our fans. They deserve better than this, and next season we need a home record to be proud of.
"We need more winners in the squad. There is a lot of work to be done in the close season."
FORM
Notts County: Notts' 16 game unbeaten run was brought to an end on Saturday but they remain top of the table. A return to winning ways would see them claim the League Two title.
Darlington: The Quakers have picked up of late and have notched up two wins this month, including one over high flying Rochdale. Their relegation has already been confirmed but they will be out to cause an upset over the league leaders tonight.
KEY MEN
Notts County: The Magpies could be without top scorer Lee Hughes meaning that another striker will take on the main responsibility of finding the net. Delroy Facey has been a regular in the starting line-up recently and will be looking to boost his tally for the season.
Darlington: Former Notts centre-back Alan White will be aiming to shut out any attacks from his former club tonight. He has been a regular at the back since signing on loan from Luton back in January.
