Learn From Experience

Posted on: Tue 07 Sep 2010

Krystian Pearce believes that he can learn a lot from his new defensive partner, Graeme Lee.

Pearce made a return to the first team in the 4-0 win over Yeovil Town alongside the experienced former Doncaster man.

He is now hoping that the partnership can flourish over the coming games.

"It was good to play with an experienced player like Graeme Lee," he told Magpie Player.

"It's definitely something we're looking to build on and hopefully get more clean sheets.

"Obviously it was a big day for the club with all the legends back and everyone wanted to impress and do well.

"The fans were behind us from the start of the game and when we scored everyone got a lift, and we pushed on from there really."

The Magpies travel to Charlton at the weekend and will be looking to build on the win.
