A big roar echoed down the players' tunnel at around 5pm on Saturday afternoon.

The players, gathered around the television in the changing room, were delighted to see that Notts had climbed into the top half of the table.

This came following the 4-0 win over Yeovil Town, which saw the team move to 12th in npower League 1.

"The lads were cheering at the end because if we're in the top half we get a win bonus," Ben Davies told Magpie Player.

"The lads are happy about that but it's really early days, there's not even 10 games gone yet.

"We've got a lot of new players and it takes time to gel, but this was the first signs of what we're capable of.

"The top's in sight and if we continue to make progress, we'll be okay."
