Extra Special

Posted on: Fri 03 Sep 2010

John Thompson aims to make the 100 Years at Meadow Lane celebrations that extra bit special for Notts County fans.

The club captain is hoping that the team can record a second consecutive win at Meadow Lane this weekend against Yeovil.

By doing so, he feels that is will make the day one that supporters can remember for all the right reasons.

"We've known about it for a while and it'll be a great day for everyone connected with the club," said the defender.

"We'll be doing everything we can on the day to get three points for everyone that's there.
