Notts County Football Club are delighted to announce that after extensive discussions with Just Sport Pro Club Limited, the running of the Club shop shall be returned to the hands of the football club.

Both parties agreed to an early termination of the contract that was signed by the previous management of the club. The termination shall take effect on Wednesday, September 8.

The club would like to state on record their sincere thanks to Just Sport for understanding the wishes of the management to request an early termination.

Chairman Ray Trew said: "We can understand why football clubs choose to contract with a company like Just Sport, but we want to run all aspects of the business ourselves.

"Just Sport were good enough to accept our position and worked with us to find a solution, and we're very grateful for that.

"We wish Just Sport the best of luck with their future."

Peter Crawford, Managing Director of Just Sport, said: "We are delighted that the club is now in such good hands and in the spirit and understanding of this change and in line with the new management's long terms aims, we have agreed to step aside from the running of the clubs retail operation, in the trust that the new Management will fulfil its ambitions and long term goals for Notts County Football Club.
