After the emotional 95 minutes at the weekend, Craig Short was left speechless at the final whistle.

Kevin Smith snatched a last gasp point for the Magpies, completing a three-goal comeback.

And although disappointed with the overall showing, Short couldn't fault such commitment to steal a share of the spoils.

"I didn't know what to say to them really," he explained to Magpie Player after the game.

"Even though they were elated at the final whistle, when they came in their heads were down, because they know they can do better.

"If I see that as a Manager, I know they know, and that's all you need when you've got honest players like that.

"We've got to adjust quickly, we got away with it and we've got to start better."
