As part of the club's celebrations of 100 Years of Football at Meadow Lane, which are focused around the weekend of September 3 - 5, Notts County are delighted to announce that a special limited-edition bottle of Glenfarclas Whisky has been commissioned to mark the occasion.

The club have ordered 100 bottles of the 700ml, 17-year-old single malt whisky, which will bear a specially designed label and will be branded with their own unique identifying number, making them a real collector's item.

Head of Hospitality, Catering and Events, Paul Fearon, who was behind the idea to launch the special-edition whisky, was delighted to see the project come to fruition.

"When ideas were being banded about to mark the Centenary of football being played here at Meadow Lane, I thought there would be no better way than to offer a truly unique item that fans can cherish to mark such a special occasion," explained Fearon.

"It became clear during my initial discussions with Glenfarclas that they were keen to get involved with the celebrations here at the club and I am delighted to have such a prestigious brand on board for this project.

"Each bottle will be marked with a unique number, from one to one hundred and they will be sold on a first come, first served basis, so I would recommend supporters to get in early to avoid disappointment. Once the stock has gone, that's it I'm afraid."
