We've got to do it again: that is the message that goalkeeper Stuart Nelson is delivering to his teammates.

Notts picked up a first win of the campaign on Tuesday in the Carling Cup, thanks to a battling performance.

Now the objective is to make up for the opening day defeat by overcoming Oldham Athletic in a return to npower League 1 action.

"It counts for nothing in the league, we've still played one and lost one," said Nelson in an interview with Magpie Player.

"But we've got to use that win as a stepping stone when we play Oldham on Saturday.

"We've got to play in the right manner, show them how we played on Tuesday and take that into the game, as well."
