If you're a passionate young Notts County fan and you boast some impressive literary skills, then the Johnstone's Paint Trophy wants to sign you up in an exclusive deal.

The trophy is urging young supporters to put their names up in floodlights and score some memorable headlines, courtesy of its official Blog Squad campaign.

Johnstone's is on the lookout for some budding sports journalists between the ages of nine and 14 to write about Notts County's performances in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy this season.

Every one of the 48 'Blog Squad' members will be given four free tickets for every home game that their team plays in.

And in a further incentive, if a blogger's team makes it through to the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, they will get the chance to attend exclusive trophy tours in their home towns, interview selected players, and win four hospitality tickets to the Wembley final on Sunday, April 3, 2011.

Following each match, the winners will be expected to email their blogs to display on the official Johnstone's Paint Trophy site for all of their fellow fans to view.

The better their teams do, the more opportunities to get closer to their beloved clubs and secure themselves some top prizes and giveaways in the process.

Johnstone's is now inviting all budding bloggers to log onto www.johnstonespainttrophy.com, before August 23 and upload a picture of themselves in their team colours explaining why they would like to become part of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Blog Squad.

Johnstone's Paint Trophy's sponsorship manager Teresa Hardwick said: "We are always looking for new ways to interact with fans, and we think that this initiative is perfect.

"We have been looking for a new perspective on the matches that are played throughout the competition, and we think that this is the perfect way of achieving it.

"Supporters' opinions are always the ones that matter most to us, so it will be great to work closely with so many young fans and get a different slant on their teams as they progress through the competition."

For your chance to become a member of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy's Blog Squad visit www.johnstonespainttrophy.com and upload your details before August 23, 2010.
