Shell-Shocked

Posted on: Tue 10 Aug 2010

Notts were given a harsh welcome to League 1 football at the weekend at the hands of Huddersfield Town.

Three goals stunned the Magpies on home soil - a place where they were almost unbeatable last term.

Neal Bishop, reflecting on the game, felt that it was shock to the system for the team but explained that they have to pick themselves up in time for Tuesday night's match.

He said: "I think we were all shell-shocked in the dressing room after the game.

"But we've got to adapt and the gaffer's said that there's 45 games to go so we've got to learn quickly.

"Thankfully there's a game on Tuesday where we can start putting it right straightaway hopefully."

Notts travel to Plymouth Argyle in the Carling Cup on Tuesday, August 10 for a 7.45pm kick-off.
