David Grof and Krystian Pearce have today signed one-year contracts with the club.

It was announced on Saturday that the duo would be signing subject to a medical, which they have both passed.

The duo travelled to Austria with the squad for the pre-season tour and impressed manager Craig Short.

Ex-England youth international Pearce is well known by Notts fans, having joined the club on loan from Birmingham in 2007/08.

He played in the 2-1 win over Cardiff at the weekend and has been highly lauded by the supporters in attendance.

21-year-old Hungarian Grof has been attracting interest from a number of clubs since leaving Hibernian - a team he spent two years with between 2007 and 2009.

Pearce will wear the number 12 shirt and Grof will take up the number 23.
