"With fans able to enjoy a number of beers, lagers and bitters, as well as decent food for reasonable prices. The venue is one of the best around, especially to watch live sport.

"We had over 400 fans in before the match on Saturday."

Paul also revealed that the Curry Club, which was hugely popular last season, will now be called the "Meal-Barrow".

He explained: "The Meal-Barrow will have the same set-up as the Curry Club, but with a lot more choice open for fans.

There will be a great selection of dishes for the 'Meal-Barrow', starting off with:

Huddersfield - Chicken Korma with rice
Dagenham - Sausage, mash and onion gravy
Yeovil - Meat And Gravy Pie (M.A.G Pie), mash and peas
Leyton Orient - Beef Goulash and rice
Sheff Wed - Chilli con Carne
Plymouth - Chicken Madras and rice
Southampton - Sweet and sour pork and rice

Please note: Vegetable options will always be available.

Like before, fans will purchase their tickets from the ticket office along with their match ticket and make their way to the 'Wheeler's Suite' (formerly the County Suite).

Simply grab a table with other fans, have a beer on us and then enjoy the food. This season we will offer the team sheet as soon as its hot off the press.

Match programmes will be available, for sale behind the bar.

With Paul sat in the press box, fans were encouraged to e-mail in there questions for the exclusive commentary on Magpie Player.

He was asked about the availability of chips in the tea-bars in the stadium concourses.

He said: "Unfortunately due to health and safety guidelines we have had to remove chips from our tea bar menus.

"The main reason is due to the heavy duty equipment which is required to cook sufficient quantities of chips, the extraction of those fumes and fire safety systems that are mandatory by law.

"Our old equipment was just not acceptable. In addition the stadium design all those years ago were not designed to have extraction systems fitted.

"I can imagine the disappointment of some fans, though on a positive side there has been already major changes to all the tea bars and this work will continue through the coming weeks.

"We are delighted to have a new supplier of hot food, not only have they a fantastic history and reputation, but have several major awards for their products. Additionally they are local (within one mile from Meadow Lane) and are also proud Notts supporters.

"Incidentally we sell their pies at a significantly cheaper price than the previous supplier."

For the final time this season the media team will bring live commentary on Tuesday night for the match against Sheffield United. You listen to exclusive commentary on Magpie Player.

We will also be having a third half-time guest, Notts County's Ticket Office Manager David Deighton. Feel free to send in your questions to media@nottscountyfc.co.uk.
