Duo Expected To Sign

Posted on: Sat 24 Jul 2010

Defender Kystian Pearce and goalkeeper David Grof are both expected to sign for Notts County next week.

The duo travelled to Austria with the squad for the pre-season tour and impressed manager Craig Short.

Subject to a medical, both will sign contracts with the club on Monday.

Short said: "We're delighted to have agreed a deal in principle with both players.

"Both of them look set to have a great future in the game and we're glad to get them on board."

Ex-England youth international Pearce is well known by Notts fans, having joined the club on loan from Birmingham in 2007/08.

He will be in the squad for the friendly with Cardiff City today (July 24).

21-year-old Hungarian Grof has been attracting interest from a number of clubs since leaving Hibernian.

Keep checking back to the Official Site next week for further details.
