Work on the Meadow Lane pitch has started today (Tuesday), with the top layer being removed this morning.

Following a successful term we're going to give fans the chance to win a piece of the famous turf.

To be in with a shot of taking a piece home, answer the following question correctly:

How many times did the Magpies play at Meadow Lane in the 2009/10 campaign, including cup and friendly matches?

The deadline for entries is 10pm this evening.

Only responses including these details will be considered. Anybody entering the competition must be willing to pick up the prize themselves from the ground.
