23 goal striker Lee Hughes will be back from suspension for tomorrow night's trip to Darlington.

Hughes picked up two cautions in the 1-1 draw against Grimsby last week and was accordingly given his marching orders.

Although they were his ninth and tenth bookings of the campaign, they were cancelled out by the subsequent red card, meaning that he remains on eight yellows.

Caretaker boss David Kevan has declared that the return of the League Two top-scorer will be a huge boost for the team.

"Having Lee back for the Darlington game will be a big plus for us," he said.

"We missed him at Aldershot, he's a big player for us.

"Luke Rodgers and Craig Westcarr came in and both put in good shifts for us.

"It was frustrating for them, because there wasn't a lot of service but they worked very hard and did well."

Many other experienced players were missing from the side that made the trip to Aldershot on Saturday, leading three under 18s to be named amongst the subs.

Kevan hailed the side that he put out, especially as some of them had featured little in recent times.

He said: "We were without some key players but credit to the players that came in against Aldershot.

"Graeme Lee, who hasn't had a start in a while, I thought he was superb and arguably our best player.

"All of the lads are fantastic, in terms of sheer effort and determination to get a result for the club.

"They want to do well for the club, and they are doing well.

"We got something from the game and that was very important."

"If they continue to show that attitude to try to pull themselves back into games, especially when they haven't played well, we'll continue to benefit."
